When it comes to tanning, exfoliation or prepping your skin with a tan eraser is key. If you have any dirt or dead skin cells hanging around, your chances of having a patchy tan are much higher because the tan will fade in some spots quicker.

You can use any of our self-tan or gradual tan products on your face as well, but we recommend only using the leftover residue on your mitt after you've tanned your whole body, as our faces absorb product more easily.

To ensure your tan looks its best, make sure your skin is well-exfoliated and hydrated afterwards by drinking water and moisturizing daily. This helps prevent streaking or blotchiness.

Once you've applied the tan, wait until it feels slightly dry on your skin, then chuck on some loose, dark clothing to prevent any unwanted staining or rubbing from tight clothes.
